Just some boring painted MDF, but they're a nice shape and they keep Pat's TV off the floor.
This was made as a house-warming present. Pat, being American, is a fan of Gustav Stickley's furniture designs.
In typical Stickley style, the mirror frame is made of oak with an ammonia-fumed shellac finish

The curtain rails are a copy of a design seen in a decorating magazine. They're
square-section ash, with ebonised oak pegs to hold the rails into the brackets.
